Camera Work

Blake was a camera operator for the short film ᎤᏕᏲᏅ (What They’ve Been Taught). Expressions of reciprocity in the Cherokee community are explored through a story told by an elder and first language speaker. The film was an official selection at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and was also a featured short film for the LA Times Short Docs series. In addition to this film, Blake has worked as a camera operator for the documentary series Osiyo, Voices of the Cherokee People for 4 seasons.
